I did like that the food described had the recipes at the end of each chapter. Good wine descriptions too. If you’re a foodie who likes mysteries, this one’s for you.

This is an excellent way to start a series. Characters are well written and real, while having just enough human quirkiness to be unique. Plot development flows well and encourages many "theories" during the read. While the imminent mystery is solved, the relationships leave you wanting to know more. Love the information about wine and wine country in California. I can not wait to read the rest of this series!

If you want a light hearted mystery this book is for you. It has humor, excitement, victims, enough suspects to fill a phone book, and makes a good read. I truly enjoyed reading it and couldn't put it down. I am going to look for more of Ms Scott's books. I think I may become a new fan.
